Just back from the midwife after my 36 week check up – can’t quite believe that in just 7 days, I’m considered “full term” and the baby could be born without problems any day! Really hoping he doesn’t make an early appearance – I’m looking forward to maternity leave.

Trip to the midwife all went well – had the usual comment about how “compact and tidy” I am – strange way to describe the bump.  But all is fine – he’s in the right position which is a relief.  He seemed to get a bit of a fright when the midwife prodded him and his heart started racing – but he soon calmed down!  Next trip in 2 weeks.

In other news – got a very exciting parcel from my colleague Beth in the USA.  She is a bit of a fan of funky hats – and thought Bob needed a couple to start of his collection.  Check these out – how cute!!  Thanks Beth!
